It's Shark Week!

Shark Week has been a big deal in my house for the last few years.  It started out as a way to show my 26 year old son that I loved the "kid" in him and that he still loved watching educational programming.  So, I started giving little silly gifts like bath toys, socks, and candy.  It has grown so big now, that I actually spend two days decorating my house for this unique week, just for my son!  This year, most of the gifts came in the form of decorations, but I still managed to give him something "sharky" everyday too!  Here's what my house looks like.  I gave him a new Shark comforter set for the last day of Shark Week (day 7).

Starbucks Anyone?

Starbucks $1 cups have become all the craze!  If you have a cutting machine and a program to design your files, the possibilities are endless with the Starbucks logos.  Since I'm crazy about Disney, of course my logos are Disneyfied!

Mother's Day Gift

I thought I would make something special for my sister this year, for Mother's Day.  I am the oldest of 4 girls and unfortunately our mom passed away 4 years ago.  So, now I try to make things for my sisters.  My mom always loved everything I made her, even if it wasn't great (she never would say anything bad cause in her eyes it was all made with love).  So, here's the gift I made my sister.

The Dark Side

This week we have a Spirit day, we chose the Dark Side.  I made our shirts with my Silhouette Cameo and then we make bows for our hair.  I like our shirts!  We will have to save them for the big Star Wars premier in December.

Valentine Time!

I am loving making Valentine cards with mini lip balms for Mia's class.  This is the last year she will have big class parties since she goes to middle school next year.  I can't believe it!  She wanted Monster's Inc. and Mike was the choice for the cards.  I haven't started on her box yet which will be Sully. The cards are looking pretty cute though.  Here they are!
