Pumpkins!

Every year my sister has a pumpkin decorating contest at her party and people do amazing pumpkins.  This year, I did PAC-MAN.

Teacher Appreciation Gift

I used to make all kinds of gifts for my sons' teachers, but haven't really done that with Mia.  So  I decided to make something for her teacher this year.  It is a very simple desk photo book for her to put pictures of her and her husband and other family.

Back From Disneyland!

We had such a great time at Disneyland with my sister and my nephew.  It was Mia's first time, so the trip was filled with lots of laughter and memories.  The weather wasn't exactly what I would call great, but we still managed to have fun, after all, who couldn't have a good time at Disneyland!?!  I am hoping to work on my scrapbook and smashbook this weekend, but it doesn't look good.  It seems that every weekend I plan to scrapbook, something comes up.  This weekend is no different.  But I am excited to see my other sister and her family.  They stay at my house and we usually have a really good time together.  I will post pictures of anything I get done this weekend!  In the meantime, here are a few pictures of Mia and I at Disneyland!

Disneyland Here We Come!

I can't believe we are leaving on Sunday morning!  We are so excited to finally get to Disneyland.  It will be Mia's first time ever and we are going to have so much fun, I can't wait to get there.  Last night we went and had our nails done.  Here is a picture of mine.

My Craft Room

I have a lot of stuff!  I am so lucky to have my own space to spread out and work.  I wish I could stay in this room and work all day, if only it came with a job and salary.  Sometimes I walk down here just to feel better.  But, I must admit, I need to get rid of some of this stuff!  I have way more than I will ever use in my lifetime.  But, where to start, I don't know.  Hope you like my craft room!

Valentine's Day

Today is Valentine's Day and of course, the day I love making things for.  This year, I made Mia a dog Valentine box and for her cards for her classmates, I made iPOD's.  Of course, I had to make the teacher something too.  So, I made her an iPAD.

Disneyland Here We Come!

So, I got an email from my sister and it was a evite.  When I opened it, it said that My daughter and I were going to Disneyland with her and my nephew for Spring Break!  I haven't been to any Disney park since 2005 when Mia was 1 year old.   She is going crazy!  She can't believe she finally gets to go meet Mickey!  We are saving our pennies so we can buy some souvenirs.  I'm so glad I have been doing lots of Disney swaps.  Now, I will have pictures to put on the pages!

Long Break

I want to apologize for not posting anything for a while.  Over the last few month my mom fell ill and I helped out in various ways to care for her.  She seemed to be on the road to better days and suddenly passed away on December 30th.  I was very close to my mom and can't imagine what the future or my life will be like without her.  She was the one person who could always make me feel like everything was going to be alright, no matter what.  She was my hope.  I will miss her deeply and I hope she's up in heaven giving me the strength I need to get through these tough moments.  I am so lucky to have had such a wonderful mother.
